Egg, February 23, 2025: I’ve been in bed all last week. Some bug must have paid me a visit. And that’s why this homepage is starting a little late. But so be it, the first step has been taken.
Now, since I wasn’t feeling so great last week, I sometimes wondered if such a project wasn’t too ambitious for a year. Yesterday I did a test run: I walked from Egg to Zurich and back. It may seem pointless to many, but those who know my love of film will know that I briefly visited lesvideos.ch and “dusted off” some DVDs to add to my archive, more on that under moviebox.ch (for those interested in Swiss films).
After the 36 kilometers and my still somewhat coughing condition yesterday, I think it’s time to take the plunge. This homepage is meant to accompany my project. Where this path will lead, we’ll see. At least, the first step has now been taken.
The start of my hike is planned for roughly mid-March… Just check back in a week or two…
Hint: All posts will be written in German and then translated into English, French, and Italian using my local translator. I can manage English and French reasonably well. I understand a little Italian, but unfortunately, I can’t speak it. No matter what language you speak, we’ll definitely find a way to communicate.
