From the Aosta Valley

I’ve now arrived in the Aosta Valley. It was challenging, but also beautiful. On Saturday (September 19th), I’ll continue. The accommodations are booked up to Tirano. It’s a long way ahead of me, but at least I’m now halfway through. I’ve already hiked 680 km, and there are still about 600 km to go.

Afterwards…

Well, afterwards I still need to cross the Stelvio Pass and a few other hills. If the weather cooperates, it should be feasible. The Stelvio Pass closes in
mid-October. It might be enough time, or it might not. We’ll see.

Anyone who wants to join me for a hike is still welcome to get in touch. At Lake Como and also in Valtellina, it would be relatively easy to hike even smaller sections, as there should be public transport (bus/train)
available. Before Como, this is more difficult.
